AirStart earns Gold Standard status as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies

Consistent growth and an unwavering commitment to customer service keeps the aviation MRO company on Canada’s Best Managed Companies list.

AirStart has landed on Deloitte Canada’s Best Managed Companies list for the fourth straight year, awarding it the distinguished Gold Standard status.

“AirStart is honoured to be among the Gold Standard winners of Deloitte Canada’s Best Managed Companies Awards. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our crew and partners, we continue to be recognized as a leader in the industry. We look beyond the end of the runway, seeking greater efficiencies to ensure steady growth and consistent profits while maintaining first-class customer service.” – Rob Wills, CEO and Founder, AirStart

This award caps off a terrific first quarter for 2019, which saw the company announce partnerships with aviation leaders on both sides of the Atlantic: the U.S.-based CommutAir, and the British manufacturer, Dowty Propellers.

Anne Vinet, Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Business Development, attributes AirStart’s continued ability to forge strong partnerships to its relationship-oriented culture:

“Everyone says this is a relationship-based industry. And it is. But you know what? Every industry is. Cultivating authentic, long-term relationships based on trust is foundational to running a great business. Customers, partners, employees — at the end of the day, it’s people who keep your business machine humming along. If you’re not good to them, they won’t be good to you.”
